Adrian Flux FTMFW
TPFT* on my Nova as a 1.2 £450** 1 years NCB lots of goodies included declared suspension brakes and alloys.
As a 1.6 £720 from the same company all goodies still included.
*Fully comp was pointless due to age and value of car
**Sky was over £1100 for that same quote
Highly doubt any other company will beat the price for the 1.2 but can any one share with me some other modified car insurers.

I'm also with Flux as they were the only ones to insure my car in my area. God help me if I need to claim thought as I've heard there cr@p. lol
Yeah I also heard they're crap but I was, Whats the word, Astonished when he came back with quotes that cheap, I was expecting the 1.6 to be more like £900+ and the 1.2 to be £600+
Whether they're crap or not, To be insured for that cheap all mods declared I can't afford not to.

how old are you if you dont mind me asking
im paying 1300 fully comp (it was cheaper then tpft)on a 1.2 at 17 and now 18 with 1years ncb and car as standard
They've been ok with me, claimed through them a few years ago with no problem and have two of my cars insured with them.
No-one else could offer me agreed value so it was a no brainer really.

That makes me feel a little better. I think that's the first time I heard a positive thing about FLUX paying out lol Did you get your full agreed payout as well?

Wasn't on agreed value when it happened, was a few years ago as well but the customer service has improved loads since then so thats a good sign IMO.

Must admit the customer service has gradually got better over the past 4 years.
I will probably have to keep using Flux anyway as HIC were £300 more and Sky pffff.

That does sound like a good price, sometimes they do pull it out of the bag!

HIC are Adrian Flux (same company).
Sky really struggle with some postcodes in the Northwest of England.

Can you get near that?

Sounds about same as me, I pay £640 through Flux, HIC wanted £1500+ for the same policy lol
I've had almost-first-hand experience of Flux's claims handling (my sister was with them), relatively recently too; wasn't impressed at all tbh. Mind you, HIC always used to be good back in the day- so as they're one and the same now I guess it just depends whether you get old HIC staff or Flux staff handling your claim.
Still, Sky for me. Thankfully I've never had to experience a claim with them, but everything else customer service wise has been spot on.
Ollie, is it your underwriter than restricts you in the north west areas?

Yep, two of our major underwriters have restrictions in that area.
When we get someone who is presenting a very good insurance risk (eg aged over 30, max NCB, good occupation, experience etc) it can very very painful for us to say 'no, we cant quote you sorry'. Also, we pick up a lot of negative feedback from people in excluded areas.
