Could be anywhere then!
Mine is an early Cav XE and my relay is on a loom with the RON plug which come from the by the dash clocks connections.
Riggy's is a mk2 Astra XE and his is above the gear by the coil.

Just search the engine bay for relay looks things!

its the big black one , it will have thick red wire and thick red/blue wire and few other colours cant miss it either in the engine bay bulk head / inlet manifold area or close to the ecu or fuse box
