For hire or reward then trust me you WILL need business insurance, technically taking your mates into town for a few squid in petrol money is the same and you need private hire insurance for that!

Not jumping on you to be a cnut, im merely letting you know, without appropriate insurance cover youre gonna be breaking the law!

Honestly nick, especially as he has publicly advertised it on an open forum, not a good idea for one and we have an insurance company as a site sponsor so it wont be very hard for you to get caught!

if youre only doing it for petrol money, then that makes your charge out rate about 15p per mile...... or from your house to london for £30......

Im not being mean to the lad im just trying to point out what seems a harmless bit of enterprising is actually playing with fire in a big way, i used to work as a delivery driver for a pizza shop and delivered in my old nova (years back) i never gave insurance a second thought till i got pulled for it, was hauled up for an interview and was facing losing my licence, my boss kept it for me and i used the van afterwards, lesson learnt (nearly) the hard way, im passing on my advice is all dude as ive been there!
