2.0 Turbo
230 Bhp, 230lbft

I dont actually lol, I drive an astra & the nova never broke on me! :thumb:

Its nice, but dont forget that renaults have a 3 year projected life span ;) then you need to start spending BIG monies on it! I used to work in a used car dealership that bought loads of the bloody things cos they were cheap! ended up spending nearly 5 grand on a 3 grand car!

Had many a laguna come through with thingys broken on it and i pray for you that you dont have kids ;) they WILL take it apart in seconds (faster then the 0-60 lol)

But I am saying that with all its drawbacks it will keep a smile on your face!:d :d :d

Makes me laff how a few certain people who drive Nova's (of all things FLOL) are knocking a newer, safer & far advanced car lol lol

Cheers for the good comments guys!
Looking forward to seeing how it compares to the DC5s ive had. Its pretty similar underneath bar a few minor details.

Cant wait to pick it up, havent had a newish car for a while now.

Mike, totally agree! ROFLCOPTER indeed!
Being slated by nova owner/drivers about a car far and above the capabilities of a nova in every aspect.
Renaults reliabilty has come a long long way!

Anywho, If it breaks, it has a warranty, who cares.

Ben

What you going for??

Just a N/A MR2 to start with dude, nothing special just a T-Bar or something, get used to the rear engine/rear drive again then progress from there I suppose.

Nice one stoo, Another Well sorted, well balanced car. Out the box standard form they will Eat a lot of other cars out there. Learn to drive one properly and not a lot will touch you. French cars have and always will be at the forefront of handeling for Hot hatch material.

Shame some people still wear blinkers ;)

John
30-07-09, 07:11 PM

Blinkers make it better. Without them you see the full extent of how crummy they are :d

I see it now. Leather jump suit, Aviators, greased back hair. He jumps from the Megane straight into the officers mess where he takes a big pork sword up the poo tube from a couple of generals.

Nice ;)

Makes me laff how a few certain people who drive Nova's (of all things FLOL) are knocking a newer, safer & far advanced car lol lol

Only 2 people gave negative replies. Both of which are quite insignificant opinions. The anti-Nova gangbang gets a bit lame after a while. Always the same people too lol but you're all obviously here for a reason!

Lynsey
31-07-09, 01:14 AM
PS- the reason is that us people who own Novas are obviously so cool that you wanna hang about with us, even though you don't like the Novs anymore :p LMAO

nice car, the best is about these meganes is that there not meganes, there completly different suspension and steering than your normal megane,
window winders give a serious amount of trouble in these cars and are expensive especially in a 3dr, so if you here any clicking from from the regulator or the window wont go up or down take it straight the the garage for warranty and make sure they replace the door loom also if this happens because the give trouble also,
best of luck with it

paddy138
31-07-09, 06:33 PM
also get it checked if there is any recalls on the car, we had one in a few weeks ago for a recalls on front flexi brake pipes

Tou funking che!

Lame or not, i find it funny, because im immature :d the only reason anti-nova gangbangers stay here is because we are outlawed on other owners clubs for having owned a Nova

But envy is a terrible thing really lol

Lynsey
31-07-09, 07:23 PM
I don't envy anyone. I have a fantastic life, thanks ;)

I test drove one of these, and they are funking superb. A contendor for the old FRS, i personally think they're better. The only thing which puts me off is the depreciation...

Stoo

I see where your coming from, mine has lost 50% in 2 yrs, but thats where i have cashed in so to speak, ill keep it for a few yrs so it shouldnt affect me too much from now

And i will agree, its superb!
