post for mate:
hes got the nova gsi shafts and using an f18 box.
think you need to use cav mk2 1.6 inners? but we looked in a part No book and found that astra belmonts have exactly the same inners an got the shafts outta that. he built them up and now has no drive...
has anyone used belmont inners? just need some guidence on what to do... or if anyone has and ready built 2.0 8v shafts for sale that def work how much are they roughly etc...
thanks in advance :thumb:

So did you?
A, check you have 22 spline shafts to start with?
B, check the inner cv's you fitted were actually 22 spline?

I've once seen a lad who'd done the same thing and had no drive.
He'd only wedged his 28 spline shafts in some 22 spline inners, cable tied the boots up, and promptly wrecked them.

Aye, as said 22spline cv's do actually go onto a 28spline shaft and "lock" on as the splines jam together... But they will strip as soon as you use them...

Yeah, he fired it in and revved the spuds of it. Result, 2x mullered inner cv's lol.
