22 spline shafts

hi all, at the moment im fairly confused.

ive got a pair of driveshafts from my gte which i wanted to know if they were the 22 spline or 28splines ones.

which splines do i count? the ones on the shaft? (meaning removal of the boot)

or

the outer or inner cv joint?

ive done a search and havnt found out which ones i should be counting.

Take a picture of the shaft with CV's on and i'll tell you if its 22 spline by the shape of the inner CV.

My gsi shafts that are 22 on the inner are still 28 on the outer as thats nova size.

lmao years ago when used buy and sale loads of novas if we had a gte we would swap the shafts with some gsi ones, bet there loads of people out there with 1989/90 GTE's thinking they have some 22's lol
