I've turned the fuel screw on my Nova 1.5td 90 degrees (quarter of a turn) clockwise as instructed but it doesn't seem to of made much difference to the performance, should it of? It doesn't seem to be kicking out too much smoke at the mo, could I turn it further or would you not suggest that?

you need a bleed valve fitting in the vacuum pipe on the turbo
it runs from the turbo to the actuator,
before you will notice any difference
and removing the white ring washer below the diaghram on the diesel pump:thumb:

plus in y experience you should turn it up quarter of a turn at a time. a quarter of a tune isnt necessarily enough. i think i turned mine about two and half times when running 20 psi so it a case of keep turning it until its about right

Ive turned my max fuel screw by about 4 turns a while back, didnt change what boost the engine made when the screw was at about half a turn. Think ive got a weak turbo actuator though, mine holds 15-16psi which isnt too shy considering thats nearly double the standard lol

I do still have the pump white ring fitted though, which i think may be restricting how much fuel goes in under boost....

And for anyone asking, yes the mods in the articles section are well worth doing. You really do notice the difference in performance.

Just keep an eye on the coolant temps! As mine shoot up if i keep it on boost for a while......
Also, solid front brakes on a astra dont like high speed stops, brake fade tastic lol lol

temps shooting up might indicate you need more fuel ad

I still hate lazy diesels with 4k gear changes. They are just cool for a different reason lol
