hi there, just wondering about a certain car of mine, i accuired it of someone who didnt realise its value i think,,, its a 85 B nova convertible, i belive its rare some chap told me there was roughly 200 made any ideas how much its worth ???

A Hutch then, a few hundred quid depending on condition.

i mite keep it and put a smallblock xe in it and i need to get a replacement hood for the convertible as its shrunk a little any ideas?

you can still get the hoods from phil hutchinson. there not cheap tho

and yes the hutch convertables are worth bugger all

id pay more than a couple of hundered for a hutchinson, but even more for a hatch

oki mate yea i was thinking it could be collectible the missus doesnt think too much of it tho but if i decide to it will be in the workshop after me hardtop nova is out (just added pics of that) i thought it had to be rare tho i havnt seen another untill now

ive never driven it on the road, what are they like? stil handle like a nova or are they a bit wallowey?

yeh yours ward, and yeh i will come down and have a ganders one time. hopefully doing my front panel sometime soon, maybe after thats done ill come down and show ya mine :>

funny enough it feels better then a hatchback. because its got extra strenghtening. very solid.
was a 1200 but now its a tuned 1600. got a 32/34 weber carb for now but wen its mot'd im going to put me twin 40's on it

yeah sounds good im not sure what engine to put in mine, im finishing my hard top first then il do the convertible over the winter n put some posts on here with my progress ;)
