i am thinking about putting a 1.8 cavvy lump in my nova
has any1 done this or no if it will fit in very well??

Pointless mate! For the extra weight of the 1.8i and 90bhp and the cost of a fitting kit, you might as well have a 1.6 gte/gsi engine fitted for cheaper and more power!:thumb:

it will fit with the same mods & stuff you'd need to stick a 2.0xe or a 2.0 8v in, but the 1800 is hardly a performance engine.

pfft, try owning one before commenting, mines like a rocket. 0-60 in 4.8 seconds, runs 11 second qtr miles and will easily beat scooby's, porches, 'rarri's and even a veyron or two anywhere.*


*disclaimer--the cav 1.8 engine is slow as fook and will NOT do any of the above. if you want a 90bhp engine buy a gte or gsi one instead:)

i did this once but it was the carb engine on a cr f16box and tbh it didnt go too bad untill my m8 bought it and stuck it on is roof lol
