gear box cassette

i was just wondering if you can sort the old posts on the gearbox gears as i just brought a f13 gte box and won't to know whats the best gears to go for (eg quicker bottom end slow top end ) your help is needed thanx

Basically u want close ratio gears with a 4.18 final drive, but a 3.94 is good enough

ive got a 1.6 gsi and just brought a gte gearbox with a 2.14 second gear, my mate who doe's nova stock racing told me it's a genuine cassette but can i change some of the gears to get better top end
