This is the reason I am glad Mini has moved off our site, customers used to come in thinking they are driving a Mini BMW. Err no, think you will find it is related more to a Peugeot! Enjoy your 207;) .

the old git has a cooper S (with cosmetic works bits) and its a horrible hateful thing to drive. Possibly due to the 19" rimzzzzz but still its a pants drive for an allegedly "sporty" car lol

The cooper S is slow as well. I embarrassed one in the Nova when it had the XE in it, much to the annoyance of the bloke driving the Mini lol

Yeah, I was a bit miffed at how slow they are standard. A smaller pulley and a remap soon sorts that problem out - they go not to bad with ~220bhp.lol

I think there was about £300 spent on it in total, so wasn't a whole pile of money involved!!

The 1.6 diesel ones go well with a remap, mates girlfriend has one. If they weren't so girly looking I reckon I'd have one for driving to work!!!lol

Avoid the old shape 1.4d's at all costs though, they are unbelievably slow.....
