Unfortunately I'm running out of room so need to sell my old 1.6 8v engine.
C16SE block and head, running a distributor setup and E16SE management. Top end was rebuilt December 07, valves lapped in, ports opened to gasket a bit, everything cleaned up inside and painted outside. Had a new cambelt, water pump etc also.
Done my best to look after it since, always left it to warm up fully before taking past 3000rpm, regular oil changes and new plugs/leads/dizzycap/arm quite frequently.
Comes with: Engine, loom, ECU, AFM (think I've got a K&N cone filter to fit it too), flywheel, starter, alternator, F13 gearbox (very recent gaskets throughout). Will not come with exhaust manifold. I think the clutch was knackered also.
Performed well for a standard engine, and looks quite nice in the engine bay as everything is painted/cleaned. Looking for £175 collected from Nottingham, near J25 of the M1.
