redtop engine mounts

hello am doing a redtop conversion this weekend and intend to use standard engine mounts and modifiying them to fit. can you please tell me what i need to do pictures would be brilliant but if not please explain. thanks for your help:thumb:

you'll be lucky as most people just buy them. why dont you just buy them?

closest match is to use is the astra mark 2 (GTE) drivers side mount and cut and re-weld the nova one about 1" lower.

Thats how it used to be done before you coyuld buy the mount for £2.50 off ebay!!!lol

theres a few mount kits in the for sale section. or go on the chris astley website and pay £50 and you get the gearbox spacers too

I've used cut and welded mounts on XE conversions in the past and TBH there not the greatest, for the price you can pick the correct custom mount up for it's not worth the hasstle.
