I have a 1.2 merit and have fitted some sr 6 dial clocks
my petrol guage is very on and off as i will fill it up and it will sit just over full, i will then proceed to 230 miles ish down the road and it will start to creep down, 10 miles down the road it will be EMPTY!!! it has already caught me out once and i run out, the time i run out i put 5pounds in my jerry can and it nearly wen to full on my petrol guage:tard: (if only)
is there anyway i can sort this so my petrol guage doesnt think my tank is 6 litre capacitylol

Any help much appreciated
cheers Connor ;)

sender unit may be sticky or the gauge is playing up!try putting the old dash back in and see if you have the same problem, if you dont then its the gauge in the sr clocks, if still the same problem its the sender unit in the tank or iffy wiing

Try the connections at the fuel tank end, iirc jimbob-mcgrew had the same problems and it turned out to be corroded connections.
