are all electric window and central locking systems out of a vauxhall the same??? just nova ones are proving hard to find so i was thinking of gettin cav/astra/corsa ones

I am not sure sorry. But you can use other makes. There is an article of how to do central locking on the novaload articles. and they used a volvo 340 gls.

you can use central locking out of pretty much any car, with few mods. electric windows would be much harder to fit from another car - your better off going for original nova ones. you can get universal kits for e/ws but i dont know how good these are

all the aftermarket leccy window kits i have seen look poo. really thin plastic pulleys etc. I'd go for genuine gm :D

central locking, use what you like, anything will do ANY car

electric windows:

you can buy aftermarket stuff, but there always a tad naff

cutting and shutting electric windows from other manufacturers cars will be hard if not impossible

the universal kits are designed to be well......universal..........
