I've fitted my internal selector from an Astra but i'm obviously left with the hole for the rod to pass through.

how have people sealed this to prevent water or fumes entering the car. The car is a rally car so would need to pass scrutineering which would be difficult wi effectivly a hole in the fire wall.

Thanks in advance.

I'm going to use a square of mudflap material with a slit in the middle and rivet it in the four corners :thumb:

Good idea. I just used rubber around the sharp edges - holes is still there, but doesnt leak.

sounds naff but you could also use a couple of wide paintbrush heads so the rod passes through the bristles (ok you could fit it better than I'm describing but its an idea none the less lol)

Why Dont You Use The Boot Off Of The Nova Rod ??
