The time has come to rebuild the enging in my Nova Sport. I just want to catch up on a bit of your knowledge before I go too far with my car.
I purchased a 1.4 bottom end which is currently being rebuilt, I am having the following work done, a rebore, new oversize race pistons, lightened and balanced crank and rods, new oil pump, and at the same time having the sump baffled. New bearings etc etc. I will fit a new water pump at the same time.
I have an existing B head and Kent Cam with vernier, it's a 1.3 head so I am assuming It will fit on the 1.4 Block?
What head gasket should I use?
Any thoughts apreciated, thanks in advance.
Is there anything else I should be concidering?
