so i get my new nova...and what happens!

oh yeah does any1 know how to get a rear bumper off? (merit) it's to dark and cold to go trying to figure it out.

pull up the carpet in the boot, should be two bolts that need undoing.

I isnt a taxing job, just remember not to loose the rubber, or the bolts.

Its a J reg so there should be a bolt at each side of the bumper in the wheel arch to undo as well as the 2 nuts in the boot. Undo all of them and it should just slide off mate.

Can't really tell what damage has been done from the second picture, but Do'h!

Whip the bumper off and see if you can knock the dent out of it (if that's what has happened).

if its dented as jim says you should be able to push it out, if its craked, take a trip to the scrappy :D

LOL its not as bad as it looked, its a scrage, it was the light that made it look like a dent, ahh well spoze this is a good excuse to get the good old sand paper out and smooth the whole thing....hmmm white bumpers sounds good?

(one good thing iv noticed with white, it blends spray paint well) however i thought id chase some rust about today. bare metal looks mint! if only it would stay like that!
