XE mini loom....

Is the xe mini loom needed or not? I am having trouble finding one, and wanted to know if it will damage the engine or cause issues if i was to run the engine without the ICV and Knock sensor connected...

Course it is needed.

Can't see how it would even run without as the knock sensor can control the ignition timing (ie adjust it if it detects knock) and can't see how it would idle with the ICV unplugged.

It will barely run - ignition will be all over the place and it will idle at 3k! ;)

It runs bad enough if you get the knock and ICV plugs the wrong way round, would be the same if they were not plugged in at all!!
