Just wanted to say hello to you guys in my first thread and tell you about my little nova sport.I have been into vw's for many years having owned several mk1 golf gti's a several mk2's including a 16v turbo and a golf rallye.I was lookig for something else, another marque of car as i was getting a little bored.I really wanted an rs1600i and went to have a look at one but it was a dog but the guy had a nova sport sitting by the side of his shed.The car was painted 10 years ago but is atill in very good nick with original shell and engine intact.I duly bought the car to make some money on but since getting it in the workshop have grown to love it.I now plan on keeping it and redoing the whole engine bay as well as race tune the engine and fit tit the stripe kit supplied with the car.It will be a labour of love but am lookig forward to attending a few shows next year.Any way i will keep you all posted on progress and look forward to meeting soon.

Nice one, hopefully another new one has been unearthed. Get signed up as a club member on here and you get access to the Sport section.

I have an email that was sent to the original owner with the chassis number and he verified it as being registered as a sport but if anyone on here can help i would like to find out myself?

Wheel trims would look really nice, but i would try and find some period Vauxhall ones of course.

It looks quite wierd with the sills painted black, makes the whole car look smaller and higher off the ground at the same time.
Looks like its in great shape from the outside, I'm guessing its been resprayed recently hence the lack of stickers. Its had new front wings by the looks of it - i.e no indicator hole.
It will be nice to see it get stickered up, and that engine bay looking less sorry for itself, keep us updated!
