front camber (laden) 0 deg 30' negative - 1 deg positive

front castor (laden) 0 deg 30' positive - 1 deg positive

rear camber (laden) 0 deg - 1 deg negative

tracking (laden) zero - 2mm toe out

according to haynes Laden is 2 occupants & 1/2 tank of fuel

we are running my rally car at (track/tarmac settings)

front camber - 1/2 to 1 deg neg

front castor - maximum (as far back as you can get the strut on the adjustable top mounts)

tracking - toe in 2mm

rear axle - towed in 1mm

rear camber - negative 1/2 deg

dont know if you are looking for track settings or want to find the best setup for yourself but thats what i find is the best on a track/tarmac stage!

Hi i've printed off the data from our computer at work and it says:

Front camber 0'00 degrees with 0'45 tolerance
Front castor 1'45 degrees with 1'00 tolerance
Total toe -0'10 minutes with 0'10 tolerance

Rear camber -1'08 degrees with 0'27 tolerance
Total toe for rear 0'18 minutes with 0'23 tolerance

EDIT:thats for a standard nova gsi with 70kg weights in both front seats and petrol tank half full(as thats how vauxhall recommend you set it up)

If need be i could post it to you/drop it off if you need it for future referance?

I've been looking at the gm nova competition build book and they say

gravel & forest

tracking 2mm toe out
f castor 4 deg +ve
f camber 1.5 deg -ve

tarmac

tracking 2mm toe out
f castor 4 deg +ve
f camber 2 deg -ve

but for irish heavily cambered roads, reduce camber to 1.5 deg -ve

and the rear end:

camber 0deg 40' -ve to 1deg 35' -ve
tracking 0.5mm toe out to 4mm toe in.

2mm tow OUT tracking
1-2neg deg camber
Positive camber 4deg

Thats usually what people aim for for a well handling track car. Down to preference though and the use of the car....

mmmm..pretty sure the best we found was toe in 2mm..

mmmm..pretty sure the best we found was toe in 2mm..

toe in gives you the impression of more precise handling, but braking for a corner & cornering are where you need the grip, and toe out gives you that.

wel we have got mine set at Toe In 2mm and it goes very well round the cicuit..

we dont have mega amount's of camber for braking purposes..we have the castor as far back as we can get the strut on with the adjustable top mounts (dont know what deg but it is alot)
