1.2 exhaust to 1.4

i have a merit and my sr, im wanting to swap the exhasts over as my mum might be haveing the merit and she wants it standard, my sr has a 4 branch on and midle box, the merit has a streight through pipe and cherry bomb made to fit the mk 1,
any help that i receve will be rewarded :thumb:

the 1.2 is a single downpipe with a 4-1 manifold, and the SR is a 4-2-1 manifold with twin downpipe. so you would have to change over exhaust manifolds too if you want the 1.4 exhast on the 1.2, or the other way round, i didnt quite understand what you meant though lol

i have a 4 branch on the sr, i want to swap them over from the end of the manifold back i.e streight thro pipe for the one with the middle box,
the sr is standered apart from the back box, the 1.2 is a streight through pipe
if thats any clearer

oh im pretty sure that they are different shapes and wont line from the end of the manifold back. someone else confirm?

The 1.2 has a single downpipe, the 1.4 has a twin downpipe and then a single downpipe. As far as I know the silencers are the same.
