What are they like to drive? as my dad is getting 1 in next few week and putting me down as the named driver...

Think it mite be the twinport 1.6 but not sure...

they drive like a spaceship mate, lol,

the steering is light, brakes are sharp, and i bet you stall it first time, lol, the clutch is like thin air

this is true, the clutch feels like theres nothing connected to it, the accelerators are very touchy and the brakes are amazingly sharp, youl probably end up in the windscreen lol

Underpowered for quite a big car

Not as bad as a 1ltr corsa d mind, they are dangerously slow!

No... He got it because he seems to think he will need 7 seats obviously when their is like 2 of us living in the household lol.

Even with a normal 5 seater he could get his gf, me, step dughter and her kid in lol.

I don't really know...
Just know it hasn't got the sat nav and 1 or 2 other extras.
Suppose aslong as he's happy.
Probably 1st brand new car he's had.
Leave him to it i guess... nice of him to put me on the policy though lol

thats all you can do with parents, my dad got rid of a vecra cdti sri, absolutly fantastic car, extreemly fast, for a lesser audi a6 lemans, What on earth was he thinking?????:wtf: lol

just an astra on steroids iirc, i had a play in a previous gen GSi turbo jobbie, quite fun, as no car that tall should go that quick. i'd imagine the 1.6 might be a touch slower tho...

Just been and got the now ''59'' plate zafira...
They are very light on handleing etc... but top notch marks for comfort!!!!
