Right i,m in the process of fitting these to mine and have run into a slight problem, theres a connecter coming out of the SBD inlet manifold next to the altenator bracket mounting and i,m not sure where to connect it to

on the standard manifold this pipe comes out of here

and goes underneath joining under the throttle body then another pip comes out of here

From that pipe fitting straight to the tee piece in the top header tank hose
so do i need to put a t-piece into this pipe and connect it to the outlet on the inlet manifold

Did you not run a tee piece before? Where did the pipe on the factory inlet go to previously?
no i didnt and its been that long since i stipped it i carnt remember where it went to lol
I've only ever seen them blanked off or running in to a tee in the pipe you point to, can't imagine how it was previously done as it is needed to bleed the system of air, this is why I don't advise blanking it off
i,ll have a look in the bay see if can see where the old pipe went to,and if no look ill branch it in to a t-piece on the header tank hose
It must of gone into the coolant system somewhere, good luck

As already said, T it into the header tank. Does your alternator clear the carbs??

i,m going to try and find where the old pipe went to first then t-piece it into the header tank hose and i havent fitted the bracket yet but it looks like the alternator will clear with the standard bracket.
And graeme cheers i,ll update this as and when i get round to it
