Should be fine mate, what filter you running? as the pancake is sometimes a bi*ch, hence i keep my corsa b tophat spare, lol

i assume its a carb, 3 bolts holding the filter on? where an spi has two.

the carb filters are smaller, so you may get away with it, if not, a tenner at your local scrappy for the complete airbox and tophat for a corsa, simples
