Did anyone see the red Nova GSi at Billing

I took Ade to see it and it absolutely blew me away

Said on the clock 1093 miles...

Didn't look to me as if it had been round the clock

Anyone shed any light on this ?

Thats from round our way. I've seen the guy driving it every now and again for years. Had no idea he was an enthusiast though - first time I've seen it at a show, ever. Just though he was an older bloke who liked to keep his car nice.

Edit: Just seen post above...guy obviously sold it on lol

Its Keifs on here, it has been round the clock but it is only one owner from new before he bought it recently at a very good price.
I first saw it a year or so ago when the first owner came in to work looking at Mini's. Wish I had followed it up with the guy and tried to buy it off him. Oh well at least its in good hands.

It's done 101000 miles then ? The steering wheel/interior is spotless

Yes 101000 miles, the guy has looked after it quite well. It was originally supplied by my local dealer, Pentagon Vauxhall.

It was very nice to see a standard GSi was it the only one at billing without speedlines?

There was a white H reg GSi with the 3 spokes on it as well

Very clean and tidy car that red one :)

They were just getting out of it and I went over for a look and some pics and the boy said to his mates; 'See, people are interested in my car' lol

I felt like saying 'Too right mate, its a cracking example'

Yeah I saw both of the standard GSi's there. Both definately completely original. Worth a few quid now I would say.

Red one:

He he, missed this thread. (damn work)

Just to clear thing's up it's my wifes. lol

but, it's me that looks after it.

Novasports right, we bought it in March for silly money. It's been round the clock but the interior is mint. :thumb:

Bodywork isn't 100% but it's damn close, i need to respray the rear spoiler as it's been painted the wrong colour (it's not faded)

Love it to bits, gives as many smiles as my Lotus Carlton, but for different reasons.

Bit of a long shot but Was it advertised for £250,essex area??!

Keif

No, it was never advertised as For Sale.

Taken from my Newbie thread.

The story goes.
Sat at the pub last Sunday (8th March 2009)(Derbyshire VxSCC meet) my fellow RO gets a text from the owner giving him details, a few texts and a phonecall later, we decide to pop over and have a look.

The other RO decides against having it due to already owning 5 Vauxhalls.

After a week of thinking about it, we (me and the wife) went back. Drove it, and got to the nitty gritty of £££'s. We agreed on a (low) price.

We went back on Monday and bought it.

Almost a good shout. I'd have packed them for her and had them waiting on the front door mat for when she got back. Two kicks, all gone. ;)
