New toys :D

Hi i know its been a while sinse i last posted , but i thought ide throw a few pics of my latest new toys , my friend Stuart rallies novas and let me know he was breaking a mk 1 sr so i called down today and grabbed theese beauties :D got a safety devices rear loop cage for £ 30 althow it has been previously painted silk violet not too bad though as it could do with a rub down and a re paint , it will be colour coded with the car , i also picked up my late sr rear bumper and sr grill badge , i picked up the grill and front bumper on saturday at the moneyglass rally off stuart , so tonight me and Liam trial fitted the cage in my 1.2 breaker and its a good snug fit . Now i have 2 complete sets of early and late mk 1 sr bumpers , il chop and change from the snow plough and the later bumpers when i get bored off the look , i also talked over the engine with liam and it looks like im going to fitt 40's as i will need to find a complete GTE or GSI loom to run the injection , either way im not fussed lol i will also collect Liam's spair gear box as i want to be geared for accelaration so im sorted on that front .


heres my 1600 GTE engine i collected from Ballyclare , it has all the electrics still on it feul rail etc , got the ECU and airflow metre along with it

and my collection of bumpers ive got both sets of mk 1 sr ones lol got the snowplough with the nova sport front bumper from Stanley in larnce complete with screw covers and towing eye cover for £50 bargain and my late set of sr bumpers from stuart which were free i will colour code them with the car at some point just need to save the pennies now
