Ok, I have a spare Nova engine bay, a spare NE engine, the correct mounts and drives. A few questions now.

Its a Cav NE so has a widebelt bottom pulley.
Q1. Will this badly fowl the Chassis leg?
Q2. Will an XE narrow belt pulley fit in its place and if so whats required?

On a seperate note, I've been told to use a TD Cav Flywheel and Clutch to mate an F13/14 to the same engine.
Q3. Is this true?

Dod love for any useful replies. :D

The XE bottom pulley is 6 bolt and the 8v one is 4 bolts, do I need to remove the bottom Cog for the timing belt as well?

the SEH bottom pulley can be used.

I've tried that and again, the difference is between the 4 bolt pulley on the NE and the 6 bolt pulley on the SE. Also, they dont sit out as far on the NX so the SE item will touch the timing belt cover.

yes they are different offsets. an ne one before 1991 will be correct. or just order one?

Where can they be gotten? TBH, I reckon I can find what I need locally and FOC which is always preferable to actually spending money. lol

i have been told you can use a 1.6 flywheel but you have to make the holes slightly bigger. but from my search results also tell me that you use a N/A derv flywheel. fook knows what off.

See Derv came in 1.5 T and Straight as did the 1.7s. I suppose the best thing to do is start stripping down engines and see whats what.
