View Full Version : riggy failed :(
poor riggy only made it 13miles home before cv joint failage so had to get recovered back to billing. he signed up with the RAC there and then but has to wait 24 hours before he can break down so they are stuck there till at least 7.30 this evening before about a 3 hour journey in a recovery truck.
hope you get home safe fella

depends what service you want, do a few diff one's, like home start, or a garage near by, or full home recovery etc

Also, if Riggy already tried for a recovery/call out, but was refused due to his new membership, he wont get recovered for this breakdown (same happened to me, CV aswell).
Hope you get it sorted guys!
What a pisser!! Hope you get sorted!
it was the RAC man who took them back to billin that told them which service to sign up for to get home today so hopefully they will make it.
i recon they are just trying to beat lees record

Gutted for you riggy! Hope all three of you make it back safely.

To beat my record they need to be relayed through 3 different trucks with a 2 hour wait between each change over lol
At least they are in one place with toilets and a bed. But feel for you both, thats crap luck, really hope you get home with too much hassle :(

Thats a shame :(.
If he'd have left before I got too far away I'd have towed him - I had the towpole in the boot :(.
When my wheel bearing collapsed i waited 3 hours for AA to turn up (had membership with my bank). Found out when he turned up he couldnt take me anywhere because i didnt have the right cover. £100 membership but only gets you 50miles, so then £2 a mile. £150 later i was home.
I hate breakdowns so now i dont drive long distance in my banger. Dad is the cheapest form of recovery :)
anyone heard from him yet?
