for my Billing pics, I have around 500 shots that I want to upload.

the previous Porta gallery that I use is awesome (www.neocapture.co.uk/nova (http://www.neocapture.co.uk/nova)) but I'm concious that you cannot 'right click/save as' which will be annoying to some, and also - you cannot directly hotlink to certain images, to ask 'have you got high res version' or to comment on etc...

Anyone know of any non-flash-based web gallery software?

Theres one called "Gallery" (lol)

Not used it for a while but I remember it being good.

Worth a look at least: http://gallery.menalto.com/

Why not just use PB and keep the gallery public.
