atm i have standard rubber nova bushes holding the engine in but it looks like the alt pully and bottom pulleyis still going to hit the chassis leg. there is about an inch clearance around the alternator pulley and the chassis leg and about a c.m between the bottom pulley and the leg will this come in to contact when driving?

also what belt do i use if this is ok? i took the power steering pump off which also holds the tensioner

Cutout the chassis leg to clear the alternator i assume? You will need to run a single v belt, if you have a tensioner im guessing its a multi-v belt so you will need the change the alternator/brackets and the bottom pully for a single v setup
