Been having problems with idling on my new engine. The problem changes as it gets warmer, will start idling fine, if a little high (1100-1200) and then slowly get higher until it will sit at 2.5k in traffic. After that it will hunt between 1-2k.
First thing to check was the ICV so I unplugged it, apart from the idle screw needing adjusting down as it now started idling at about 2.5-3k from cold, it shows exactly the same behaviour.
Is this showing up the ICV as knackered, or the ICV not being controlled by the ecu, maybe due to a different sensor fault?
EML isn't on.
