right then, im selling my sr, but i want a cavvy, im looking at a 1.7 td but i want a saloon rather than hatch, if and when i go to look at one what should i look out for?? i know some of you have cavs so i thought i would ask you lot first befor i buy a shed lol

rot. look for rot around the back arches and around the fuel cap.

Rear spring seats rot like mad, reason i got hold of my cav gsi donar! Sills came off with the sideskirts as well!

my dad's got a saloon 1.7TD also all the sills rot and they tend to leak in rain water
the 1.7td engine is izuzu

The 1.7 can be a vauxhall one aswell, or at least it can in mk3 astras...
