need one that covers me and not the car as i have 2 cars in use and sometimes borrow my dads

AA have always been good for me, and i haven't felt the need to try any other service. I've really made the most of them and must have called them out dozens of times!. They do more than one type of cover though - go for the one where they will tow your car home if its unfixable, rather than just the closest garage. They cover you rather than the car, I've even called them when I've been the passenger in a mates car thats broken down.

They do tend to take a while to turn up though, I think I've had to wait at least an hour every time I've called them, wether thats in town, on the motorway or whatever. I wouldn't expect them to fix much more than a flat battery either, think of them more as a towing home service.
