c20ne is the best engine to turbo as it is a lower compression engine
you can use the pistons from that
or just buy a c20ne and turbo that
its not just a simple bolt a turbo to a engine job you need
oil feed and returns tapped into the block and sump
etc etc

I got told i could use let pistons on the c20seh engine to turbo it

You dont need to tap oil feed or returns into the block at all.

Use Ford gear an run it straight from the oil pump, i still have all the parts here to do it.

Yep, even got a stainless braided T25 oil feed hose thats brand new (£38 RRP). All you'll need is RST oil pressure sensor (about £8) as you cant use the GM sensor.

c20ne pistons are good for upto 12psi on standard managment. or use a spacer plate, or get your pistons dished out. the best place for info is here:

gm actually did a 8v turbo engine in the states, dougie fromTV mag was telling me about it, a 20get i believe. bits are available via the web.

yeh like napalm said, its not a 5 min job, will require an semi-strip down on the engine and will cost a fair wack. as youve got the higher comp of the 2 engines allready, id say go for a lightened and balanced flywheel, twin carbs, and a cam for the same money, will sound and go like an animal.

lol baxter, u love seeing how much compression you can get out of an engine before it destroys itself lol.

yer for all of 10 mins. as stated look on vaux-extreme. the big questions are, what power do you want, and what management you using? standard or aftermarket?

Nope, there as reliable as a standard motor. Proven fact.

This is just a slow one (500ish hp)>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdijTTxWwWk

Well i've got my 2ltr 8v and am putting r1 bike carbs on for the moment and when i get some more money am gonna make a custom inlet to fit over the bike carbs with a supercharger running as well.

superchargers and carbs do not go, it will just flood when you get any boost

err i suggest you look at any supercharged american v8 then. a suck through design works very well.

ive done the re-search for this and its relitivly easy, I am currently in the process of building mine using a seh motor, however a t25 is to small, need a t3/t4, cosworth ones are ideal, i can send you all the details you need to know, juts drop me a pm with your e-mail address

Ok then, but you could not use bike carbs as they are the wrong design, it will just blow open the slide to early and flood, unless you restricted the slide, then it would not be that responsive!

One of the quickest novas ever built was a very cheaply built and reliable 2.0 8v turbo !

Isaachunt anyone!
