As this will be the last chance i get on a PC before tomorrow, just a final word to remind you all to please be on best behaviour for the weekend.
I know it feels like we go on about it all the fecking time, but a lot of work has gone on behind the scenes to get us to this stage, and all the effort culminates in us showing as a club that we ARE as mature and sensible as we have assured the VBOA comittee we are!
Once we are in, we are in and can deal with any rouge behaviour like we would at any show on the calandar, but at this ONE show, any blot on the parchment will affect our reputation from the word go, as all eyes will be on us, so one member getting overly drunk or loud or abusive will paint us all with the same brush. The VXON flag incedent is a good example of this, we were first in line for the blame with no evidence other than we were next door. I want rid of that image, as Im sure you all do too!
For those who have never been before, Billing could not be any more different than PV, the showground will be brimming with old school car enthusiasts of every generation there for the cars and the socialising, not the pills and the beer like at PV. Any rubbish you generate needs to be put in bins or taken away with you. It will probably be Dan litterpicking our site at the end of the show. You dont want to make him angry lol
I know that for 99.9% of you, this post is not required as a lot of you have been part of growing the reputation we have over the last two years, and for that you should all be proud, I just need to make sure the odd few who are new to the scene understands how important this is for everyone :)
Lets put the icing on the cake boys and girls, and show what the Nova owners of 2009 are all about :thumb:
