Should I be painting my new rear drums to protect them ??

Any recomendations ?

No real need, but if there new there great to paint, Just do it black hammerite

Yeah was thinking hammerite, do they do a high temp one (Spose they dont get that hot thou)

Ok, on a road car then normal hammerite is fine.

mine is a road car. the high temp stuff melted on my calipers aswell,. if you drive like a fairy you will be fine lol

Il change it again, On a road car that never goes on track or anything. So yer, even hot stuff will burn off at some point

you can buy brake paint, & also a motorbike engine pot paint. both are high temp. hammerite is for gates

I had normal Hammerite on my rear drums. I drove like a knob and caned it round combe, no peeling troubles at all.
