2 things, air in the pipes, or calipers upside down.... are the bleed screws on the top or bottom part of the casting????

just keep bleeding them. if needs be, get an eezibleed kit from a motor factors.... they can be pigs to bleed thru

yeah is either air in the system or you have ****ed the master cylinder by pumping too hard or fast when bleeding.
there is a type of cylinder that is prone to failing on novas corsas annd astras but do not know the code.

poss EB or something on the cylinder

did you fit the sprigs that that clip on the sides of the calipers mate. the ones that hold them down and stop the flex when you press the pedal

make sure all the assembly is done first, and when bleeding brakes always bleed the rear drivers side one firsth then the other drum then the front ones! and check so see if you can see any brake fluid anywhere!
