Right the nova goes into the bodyshop tomorrow (Monday) for a new coat of paint, bodykit, engine an a few other bits!
but I want to know if,
1) Italic plates are worth it or not?
2) Should I have a slogan under the reg or not? And if I do what should I have?

no and no they look tacky imo, standard size, standard font etc when i see them i just think well it just looks weak, if you get a slogan make sure its decent, some are genuinely quite good but 'catch me if you can' etc just looks weak!

you will probably get pulled by the law if you own a nova anyhow, so you dont want to encourage them so forget the italic plates as they look like they belong on a capri.

Slogans can be fun but be careful, like if its a 1 litre dont stick "catch me if you can" on it.

wouldnt recomend that one round here at the moment, theres been enough shootings lately, a guy got his throat slit in a club i used to work on the door of. They also had a cop killed in the Black and White cafe earlier this year.

if you do have funny lates and keep getting pulled by the police, keep the original ones in the boot and when they pull you say sorry just been to a show and forgot to change them, also keep photocopies of insurance, liscence and MOT and they will let you go home.

Lat time i was offered a chance to change them was about 18 months ago- BIG crackdown on plates...cos its such a huuuge crime :roll:
