Gaz can make them up however you like if you ask, so panscrapingly low if that's what you ask for... benns are made up to go down to -120 or so iirc?

^ aye. When i ordered mine i asked for short bodies so that i can go low. Ring them and have a chat. They are sound people.

I thought it was more but then I thought nahhhh Olly had to do major work to get his track car down 120 lol Any idea how much yours is lowered atm? You've not tubbed the rear arches or anything have you, or have i missed a massive chunk of your build thread?

When I said tubbed the arches, I meant the inner arches, like simps has done on the rear. Was wondering if you'd done any work to get it lower :) I assume from the fact you planned for it in the coilovers you'd like to go what I'd call VW low eventually? lol

Loads more thread left on the fronts. Wouldn't want to go much lower though.

I've taken a set of Spax's & avo's off a hatch nova and put onto my saloon. Both coilovers have had very similar short bodies as the Gaz' and taking another 2 1/2" down the thread gets the round arch sitting on top of the tyre. There's still thread left (about an inch) but you're practically on the bump stops. With the shortened Gaz' you should be able to comfortably lower a hatch nova to just above the tyre and still have plenty of shock travel. You just need to make sure you have firm enough springs so the car doesn't roll too much.

This is mine running 6" coilover springs on the front and it can only go two turns higher as i'm pretty much at the top of the threads.

Back is on 10" springs and they are about 3 turns from the bottom. Can't go any lower on the back as the wheel hits the top of the arch. Also bare in mind the car has absolutely no weight in the back anymore.
