2e carb help, mixture screws

ive got nothing in my nova haynes manual about the 2e carb.

where abouts on a 2e carb are the mixture screws ?
primarily the richness one im after. (is it standard anti-clock richer, clockwise leaner ?)

on left hand side of the carb mate the side facing the alternator but you will need a long ish thin plain screwdriver to turn mixture screw as its a narrow hole its in mate. p,s im sure its anticlockwise for richer

if its never been touched chances are there will be a plastic bung to stop people messing with the settings...

get a small pick or pointy thing to get rid of that. and are you sure theres notthing on the 2e? i'm sure i got all my instructions out of that for my old 2e3, and i'd presume its a similar body.

The 2E3 is coverd, in the front, same as the 1.3 iirc. if not its in the back bit, 1.4 style.

yeh im confused, it says in the front that all models are covered including sr and gte, but ive been thru most of the book in the last year or 2 and it only covers 1.0/1.2/1.3 litre, i must have a shoddy copy.
