View Full Version : Ipod question..
A. Is itunes any better than when they first brought it out 5 years ago, as i hated it then.
B. Can you put "borrowed" music on a Ipod as have been told you cant.
Want to buy one but have about 100gb of downloaded music so if cant put that on there then is no point buying it.
A. No.
B.I belive you can

It's very similar to when it first came out tbh.
Regarding putting music on well if you put a audio cd in your machine, it will download to your harddrive then you can put them onto your ipod. They auto install into itunes.
Also if you have existing mp3 files you can also simply drag these onto itunes and it will store them, so you can play them on your ipod.
Really easy. :D

itunes is easy if u just use it to put music on ur ipod its just simple drag and drop
You can import any music in to iTunes but your iPod is sync'd with only one version of iTunes. So you can't go to a mates house, plug in your iPod and xfer music.
A. No.
B.I belive you can
a= no
b=yes because mines full of downloaded music

Download the updates for itunes. I have done this and have no problems with it. Also my ipod is full of borrowed music!
i bought a cheap fake "ipod" and it looks excatly the same, cost a fraction of the price, and works wonderful and you use it just the same as a memory stick, so can put any file type on there
ebay ftw
I have had a few cheapo mp3 players and I HATE to say it, but the iPod I have is the only one that has shined through.
tbh mine is a copy of the new gen shuffle and it hasnt skipped a beat, so there is no screen to crack or go wrong...
Fair enough. The iPod fake shuffle (v2) I got still works fine but I snapped the clip off and the insides can be pulled out.
Any gen on the Touch? might be good for me to fook about with at work.
I've heard media monkey is good with ipods, i have the program but no ipod

Ipod touch is what spawned the iphone IIRC. Masses of memory, all gthe functions of a normal ipod and look good to. Go for it!
Utterr sh*te. Itunes is crap. Putting music on its hard, putting vids on is a nightmare if you lucky enought for it to work.
Get a sony weapon. Simple grab and drop, screens better qualty, better sound too.
Best thing i did...
