DVLA Medical Conditions [PDF] (http://www.dvla.gov.uk/media/pdf/medical/aagv1.pdf)

Anxiety IS on the list, but I think its mainly down to any medication you may be prescribed.

[edit] Just looked at that PDF a bit closer. Mild anxiety is ok for car use, do not need to inform DVLA (with medical prescription exceptions); HGV drivers need to inform them if its any more than a short term condition. For more severe cases of anxiety or depression it does say that driving should cease "pending outcome of medical enquiry" for cars, and if for HGVs if the driver has been clear for 6 months they're allowed to drive, assuming no medical side effects could cause problems.
