Anyone? or does anyone know if I could use a hub carrier off an early (93/94) Corsa. Are they the same?

I've a pair of front hubs but they need new bearings, and I'm quite a way from you.

Thanks mate, will keep you in mind if I don't find anything closer to home and bearings aren't a problem as they are pretty cheap.

Out of interest how much would you want for the hubs?

Its the hub carrier that needs to be renewed. Something about the hole for the bolt(s) having largened too much due to movement. I don't remember exactly what the garage said cos they talked to me as though I know about cars mechanically (which I obviously don't)

Hopefully got it sorted tho just waiting on a phone call to get it sorted on Thursday just in time for Billing. Didn't think I was gonna be able to make it but fingers crossed.

Fair enough, I'm fairly pants with mechanics aswell! Seems strange how the holes have ovalised on the hub, never heard of that before. Thought it would be the holes on the strut that would be affected if anything.

Hope you get it sorted anyway! Didn't realise you were going down to Billing, will be cool to see the car again.

Will be showing with Club Vox as usual (if I get there). The garage that are gonna give me a second opinion think the MOT station I used are at it and just wanted more money outta me but will know more by thursday (cutting it a bit fine but may travel on my own on the Saturday rather than the convoy on Friday depending on the result), fingers crossed.

Looking forward to seeing the Ski in person too mate. I'm sure the pictures don't do it justice although it looks cracking.

New hub arrives tomorrow sometime before 5.30pm. hopefully early so I can get the work and mot done first thing and get to Billing on Friday, if not will hopefully see you all around on the Saturday/Sunday.
