Is this for your missus car? I'm pretty sure all you need to do is take the gater off and there should be a plastic bit that you can chop off. Then you will get 5th on the gearbox. :thumb:

I have a complete gear selector & knob etc from an SR. Happy to add it in with the air pipe if you want it...

Can i just add, yes you can cut the bit off but as ive found out (on a few cars i should add) that if you dont get it in the right place your somtimes go too far over and miss 5th gear.

If thats the case then you have done some thing wrong.

All you need to do is cut of the little white plastic lug that sticks out on the gear stick
