Thanks..
Nope. Just connect the pipe stright to the pump.
Are you running one Benn? What do they even do?
Nope, took it out about two years ago when i was told they do hardly anything.
Dont remember tbh. But wanna say its ment to stedy the flow of fuel. But they stop working with in a few years.
I touched the nut on the bar on the top once, it snaped the top off...lol
just done the exact same thing this weekend. it was corroded and had a hole in it. have a search if u wanna know what they do cant remember.
I have googled it, but just get a few links to sites trying to selling them...
It cuts out vibration in the fuel flow, i.e. steadies it out iirc.
Just bin it, its just one more thing to rust and leak.

I meant on here but theres your answer ^^^:thumb:
Thanks guys, i'll get rid of it for now then... :)
they cost around £50 these days, if you have a different fuel pressure reg, then its not worth it anyway
Yeah Bin it fella. Good news it's going for test! Can't wait to see it on the road!
Thanks John, me too - should be a giggle :) First time its looked like a car for about 6 years lol
It's no where near finished but its looking good!

i went and checked mine out today; its all fine. So shall i leave a good working one in?? Or still take it out. Im replacing the fuel pump and filter completely anyway u see, soon.
I'd leave it in, i'm still running one on mine. Vauxhall wouldn't have fitted it for the sake of it surely?
If its all working ok leave it in place.
*looks great Mazz!
Took mine out and it didn't seem to make any difference, but i think i'll put one back in when a get one for a reasonable price, not paying £50 for one!
