ooops
engine is a 1.4 ported head with piper rally cam and GTE 1.6 injection system/uprated motorsports fuel pump. it runs like a dream much better than twin 40's that were on before they were banned

just as a matter of interest, how much would you want for the 4.3? i have a mate who runs a 'standard' rally car and it could help him out with better excelleration (he might then stand a chance of winning an award) lol
mayhem was playing with a mk1 astra 1200 ohv. it has the low diff. you could pm him. but he is in holland
you can get them from vauxhall but they are £300 ish.

i have a spare 4.5, not sure i'd sell though......, how much you offering?
Might be worth phoning around a few scrappies & seeing if they have any corsa combo's in. Ive just bought a box of ebay for a tenner & that had the 4.53 diff in

if you are running a standard box then the 4.18 will do just fine IF however, you have an LSD fitted the the 4.25 is the way to go.
if you car is for road rallying and standard box then the 4.18 will give you good excelleration and a very reasonable top end speed.
the 4.53 will give you slightly better excelleration but the top end speed will come down :(
my car on gravel with the LSD really NEEDS the 4.53 as top end speed is not needed.
clear as mud eh?
thats why scooby's start to run out of grunt when you get above 90 :)
