nova standerd wing mirrors (help question)

bit of a stupid question i bet but its baffleing me howdo you get the plastic cover off the wing mirrors?

doin my head in lol

i dunno if its the proper way to do it i got mine off with a small flat head screw driver just follow the line round the cover and they just popped straight off

Easiest way is... Hit the mirror cover from the front which pushes it off its hinges, it exposes the inner edge of the cover. Then you should be able to slide it off by pushing it towards the outer edge without breaking any clips or gauging the plastic with a screwdriver.

It's near on impossible to 'push the mirror off its hinges' when it isnt screwed to a door.
