I would try two things -

1. rub it back a bit - new primer and then top coat again

if 1 fails to sort the problem -

2. rub paint back to bear metal then primer and colour

Cheers

Joffindeed thats what i thought i would have to do which is why i lost me head lol. after i had calmed down tho i went back out to it and rubbed it with my hand, it dissapeared abit so a quick rub with a cloth got it to this

then a quick light wet scotch got a completely uniform finish so quite wtf is going on i dunno lol

is it hot where you are? probably the aerosol thinners drying too quickly.

You also get a milky effect if the paints applied in too manmy layers too quicky when the prev layers thinners cant evaporate fast ehough and gets trapped under the next layer of paint.

Thats why youre supposed to leave time between coats.

Does look like odd drying from heat/thinner build up.

Few mins between coats and a bit more even spraying if you can.

looks like it came out ok in the end but do you have a draft in the garage could cause uneven drying

What did you clean it with first?
Where you painting over paint?
Are you putting it on evenly?
