p600 i think.

Sorry fella thats wrong, p600 is courser. I tend to use grey scotch for preparing new soft bare plastic bumper as its so fine they wont scratch the plastic. P600 wet and dry would be something I would tend to finish preparing primer for paint on a dark coloured/solid colour base etc. If you let me know what your preparing I could advise you of the best/my preferred method. Hope this helps.

as above...p600 on an orbital sander with a bit of water gets a really nice finish ready for top coat.
